Can I share a short story?
When we dreamt of owning a farm, I’ll be honest that much of it was based on us being able to help create nutritionally dense food for our family. But then we realized that we have so many great friends and family, we wanted to share that love. Especially in Milwaukee where you don’t have quite the access to farm-fresh produce on a day to day basis (I realize there are places like Whole Foods but even then when you take it home it’s much older than what you can get from our farm). I wanted something that would make it easier for our busy families we have the pleasure of serving to obtain. So, we opted for delivery in areas of Milwaukee I already travel on a daily basis. It’s been hard, it requires a ton of planning on our end, but we love being able to make your breakfasts or those Christmas cookies just a bit better.
19 dozen eggs. Yesterday, I sold 19 dozen—making it the most I’ve ever sold in one day. We’ve expanded to a new neighborhood (Hello Cristo!) and today these eggs are going to more new customers who we see as friends!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We don’t do this to make money, we do this because we truly believe people need and deserve access to healthy food. We are planning on expanding this year into gut healthy breads, honey, duck eggs (those are coming any day), and many more options in our canned items and vegetables than we had last year.
Each time you support us, you support sustainable agriculture, you support us going into schools and sharing the work we do, you support little girls taking dance lessons and a family that loves nothing more than helping other families savor what they put on the table.
Much love, Terry, Audra, Rory, Isabella, Emma, Molly, Norah and Chewbacca.
